All is right with the world because my beloved @GMASteam brothers @MrSmith_LES and @JamesSlay7 are back home today!! Greatness abounds in #Region5! So proud of these accomplished school leaders for transforming futures at Lonsdale and @SmgMagnet!!

What an amazing first day of school on the hill!! This is the year of hard work, big dreams, high academic expectations, and of course LOTS of love for our amazing children! We are in our #renewal era @GMASteam #PantherPride

This week on early release day, our @GMASteam family conditioned our spirits, bodies, and minds to be at our very BEST for kids! We began with a yoga class, then enjoyed fresh fruit and yogurt parfaits before foundational literacy vertical planning. What a great day!

While logistically we couldn’t have the whole student body out for the @GMASteam playground ribbon cutting, we wanted to make sure EVERY student was involved in THEIR celebration. These intimate grade-level ribbon cuttings were so special 💚

Some days are big wins for the kids. As a leader, you will remember those days always. The @GMASteam children deserve all the good things the world has to offer, and I’m blessed and humbled to be part of a team that helps them get those good things. 💚🖤

As a male counselor of color it is absolutely uplifting to see so many other male counselors of color when walking around at #ASCA23. There HAS to be a way to have young men of color who may have never considered being a counselor SEE this and tap into the feelings from it!
