(NOT) Friends of Football

Has @NZ_Football raised concerns with FIFA about the presence of its President and football teams used as a backdrop or included when the President of the USA communicates about wars? Is this an acceptable policy or standard? Should our sport not be neutral or more against wars?

And NZF still charges amateur players a levy to play the game? Auckland FC is sucking the oxygen out of the game. The domestic game is nothing much more than social football now. It's over! Smart clubs are no longer wasting money. Let those with ego and wealth do.

This is really disappointing. Mark has been class for the Nix - which involved him moving over to Australia with the club during Covid. He's done an exceptional job, and for whatever reason, the Nix feel like they need restructure the socials gig. Pleasure to work with, and pleasure to call him a friend.

@pineynz Football has become a money game. Seems like people are keen to break all loyalty for this. It is felt in grassroots football. If you are rich you get more. Just look at money thrown at amateur players! It is only "show speak" that the game is about diversity. It's about money!

@FairFootballNZ The two NZ sides are already complicated enough, Eg. Being AFC Clubs not OFC, not qualifying for ACL etc. They also both present issues for relegation, and where the go if they happens, so two is fine.
