Fair Warning Art
@FairWarningArt
A hyper-curated auction platform where you can access one-lot live auctions.

Some very interesting news. Fair Warning is auctioning ‘Real Art’ by Beeple on October 9. The curated platform is run by Loic Gouzer who previously sold the $450m Salvatore Mundi. The platform sells one lot at a time and the most recent sale was a $3.3M Basquiat last week. This is the first digital work on the platform since an Autoglyph sold in 2024 for $415,000. It’s one of my personal favorite Everdays—and good visibility for the digital art ecosystem at-large.

In a significant crossover moment, Larva Labs will auction its rare "Autoglyph 30" at Loïc Gouzer's @FairWarningArt for charity Gouzer is famed for orchestrating the record $450 million "Salvador Mundi" auction at Christie's in 2017 Learn more below ↓

Gary Gensler wants to kill your NFTs Calling them securities in an attack on crypto artists. Starting today, we fight back. I’m teaming up with @beeple, @UNFKearth and YOU to deliver 100,000 signatures to the SEC, demanding they keep their hands off our JPEGs And Beeple will immortalize it in an Everyday 🖼️ 🫵 STAND 4 ARTISTS HERE: UNFK.com/action 🫵 ## BACKGROUND - AN ASSAULT ON CRYPTO ART ## Since 2016, creatives around the world have made a living selling original art via NFTs. On Aug. 28, 2024, Gensler sent a Wells notice to @opensea saying he views these artworks as securities. x.com/dfinzer/status… If Gary isn’t stopped, thousands of artists who make a living from NFTs will no longer be able to support their families. That includes artists you and I love and support. It may even include you. Mark my words: If Gary gets what he wants, digital art ends as we know it. And if NFTs are securities, then what's next? Beanie Babies? Baseball cards? The funny thing is, only a short while ago, Gary said most tokens were not securities. Now, he carries the water for corrupt bankers and politicians threatened by crypto's rise. And with this latest action against NFTs, he is doubling down against crypto art. We speak for all when we say: we are fed up. Now, we fight. Here’s the game plan and how YOU can help... THE CAMPAIGN: 1) Sign the "NFTs are not securities" petition, to let them know we’re ready for a fight Do it anon or doxed. We’re gathering 100,000 signatures to demand the SEC stop the investigation into OpenSea, and make it clear NFTs are NOT securities. 2) Put Gary in the hot seat by reporting him to the anonymous SEC Employee hotline We think it's time to report Gary to HR once and for all. You can make a 100% anonymous complaint against Gary on the petition page we've made Write how you feel about Gary (can be funny or serious, but CAN'T use violent or racist language). UNFK will have the funniest complaints read in Gary's voice at his office in DC (yes, you read that right) And in this fight for freedom of arts, we’re deploying the most potent weapon we have: Art itself. The gran maestro @beeple will be monitoring the complaints you write to Gary Gensler. And has offered to put the funniest into an Everyday. That’s right… your words could be immortalized… as we call out Gary for harassing hardworking artists. 3) Share this post and campaign to spread the word Once you’re done, come back here and blast this post to EVERYONE. Actually, do it right now. Repost it. Comment. Text it to your grandma. Let’s take the fight to Gary Gensler and the SEC. Scroll up, sign the petition now, and let’s get to work.
