Voters in these parishes approved the games in 2018, but DFS operators haven't been able to enter until the tax bill passes. Now, more than 18 months after the vote, it appears the bill is well on its way to passage.

Louisiana daily fantasy sports taxation bill passes the Houses with minimal opposition and now goes to the Senate. If approved by the Senate and signed into law by Gov. John Bel Edwards, eligible players in 47 of the state's 64 parishes can (finally) play legal DFS games.
