@FairplayDesigns @JonFromAlberta This is exactly why my husband's family ended up in Ottawa, the company where his father worked moved their HQ out of Montreal to Ottawa. They moved with the company.

I was originally frustrated with Danielle Smith’s October 19th referendum question. But I’m starting to see the strategic value. Before, Albertans basically had two choices: Vote yes for independence. Or vote no and stay exactly where we are. Now there is a third option. Fence sitters can vote to have the referendum, send a message to Ottawa, and still make up their mind later. We can take advantage of that strategy! @JonFromAlberta We need extra time. There’s no way we would win in a straight-up referendum in October. I’m actually more angry about all the carbon crap attached to the “pipeline” than I am about the question. Premier Smith has a tough job and I wouldn’t want to be in her position.

Premier Smith, As a proud Albertan who has stood with you through the Trudeau years, I love this province with everything I have. But I cannot stay silent while you celebrate a new MOU pipeline deal with Mark Carney that includes an industrial carbon price. That price will not “turn the tide” for the working families already crushed by affordability. Many are down to their last $20 every two weeks after rent, groceries, and power bills. This added cost will not create prosperity, it will bankrupt them. Your decision to mutilate the October referendum question into something so vague and toothless shows a painful disconnect from the very people who elected you. It feels less like leadership for Alberta and more like political positioning for those who simply want to remain in Canada at any cost while you campaign against the rest. I say this with genuine regret: I can no longer carry forward my support for you as a voter. Alberta First must mean ALL Albertans first, not just the ones willing to stay in Confederation or agree to financial punishment while the rest are left to struggle. True patriotism demands compassion for every constituent, not just the ones who fit a national narrative. Premier, the people are watching. Put Alberta, every single Albertan first, or history will remember this as the moment you chose Ottawa over us. We deserve better. We demand better. #AlbertaFirst #AllAlbertansFirst

I know the last decade under the Trudeau-NDP was difficult and Albertans have every right to be frustrated. But thanks to the leadership of Albertans, the tide is finally turning in our favour. The vast majority of Trudeau’s ‘9 bad laws’ have been scrapped or reformed. Investment has begun flowing back into energy, tech, and agriculture, and we are creating more jobs than the rest of the country combined. Now is not the time to give up hope. Now is the time to double down and help Canada reach its incredible potential. With Alberta leading the way, we can turn Canada into one of the most strong and prosperous economies in the world. On October 19, I will be voting for Alberta to remain in Canada. I hope you will join me in doing so.

@CTVNews ‘no longer necessary’ is spending another $ there. Not a Canadian company anymore and Covid nazis that built a pipeline for replacement migration. We hope every franchise goes bankrupt at this point.
