@SecretTeach3r I'm a 1:1 SEN TA (and trained primary teacher) It would be disastrous for children and teachers if there were no TAs anymore. What a mess!
If funding continues the way it is, there will be no such thing as a "Teaching Assistant" anymore. Classes will just have 1 teacher, regardless of their need or vulnerability, and that's if they can even manage to recruit one. This government are destroying the whole profession.
#strikes are almost all resolved but yet, as is the norm, the lowest paid amongst us are overlooked. #supportstaff are still on less than £10 an hour and still on the frontline catching the violent hell and fury of kids so #teachers can #teach. What about us?
A river of boiling shit flows through your town. You haven’t seen a tomato for 18 months. MOTD is 3 minutes long and narrated by a parakeet. Your salary is paid directly to British Gas. You solve a riddle to speak to a GP. You feel people come here because they want an easy life
@Teacherglitter We are having a comfy clothes day and the whole school are having a story time in the hall with comfy cushions and fairy lights. It makes such a change from the panic and stress of costumes and I feel brings the focus back to wbd.
As I am a mummy, my Facebook is parents and not teachers. It gives me an insight to what parents feel. And LOTS are stressed about costumes on Thursday. Money, time, knowledge. Teachers want book joy. Please don’t make this into something to stress you xx
Today's Daily Mail is promoting the toxic anti-LGBT "grooming" narrative, which has already caused such harm in the US - is this really something that @Sainsburys@Asda & @SkyUK want to endorse?
