@GregMcKnight11 Sad and true. That is what my website attempts to help people with...becoming aware of when are in survival mode. Less survival mode = more thinking

@Fakecongirl But for the idea to take form in the culture — you have to have enough people with the bandwidth to understand the idea. If most are in survival mode, wiped out mentally and could face punishment for embracing the idea — it is unlikely that the idea stands a chance.

Progressive culture can only fully emerge and take root within societies that are both relatively wealthy and free—conditions created by the success of modernism. Without modernity’s collective prosperity and personal liberties, progressivism is culturally unsustainable.

@PFinuras Yes. It's a roll of the dice every time. And there are thousands of years worth of possible combinations every time. For example, people who have bow legs genetically/characteristically have chimp legs. But that is freaky to think about!

Why are there so many "wrong genes" that generate aversive & antisocial behaviours in the genetic pool of our species? Because natural selection doesn't care. Evolution and natural selection are amoral. Genes that replicate successfully remain here. only that counts
