@FXwith I respect your opinion.. but US China positive developments and a better than expected full-time employment, last week actually decreased the rate cut odds (which supports the Aussie). It's not me saying, it's the ASX futures 😉

Not sure I agree completely. Look at an equally weighted AUD index of the currency vs the other majors. Much of the AUD strength has been in the absence of a strong USD effect as you note below.
