You're right, but let me expose this even further. Trump just admitted China voluntarily walked away from Nvidia. Not because of sanctions. Not because of a ban. Because they don't need US chips anymore. That's the nightmare Washington refused to say out loud. The entire strategy of chip sanctions was built on a bet that China could never close the gap. That bet failed. Billions in domestic R&D, years of pressure from US bans, and now China has its own alternatives. Trump's words say it all: "They want to develop their own." That's not tough talk. That's resignation. The US no longer has a bargaining card. You can't threaten to cut someone off when they've already built their own supply. And once China starts supplying the rest of the world with cheaper chips, the entire architecture of American tech hegemony collapses. The main card is gone. Now watch Washington panic.
Megatron@Megatron_ron

NEW: 🇨🇳🇺🇸 Trump confirmed today that China is refusing to buy NVIDIA chips because they are developing their own This once again confirms that the US has lost the main bargaining card with China which I wrote about it yesterday. TRUMP: “They have (Nvidia) a much higher level than H200.China needs it and yeah it came up. They choose not to buy because they want to develop their own. I think something could happen on that.”

BAD NEWS FROM US-CHINA SUMMIT 🇺🇸🇨🇳 President Trump said China “chose not to buy” NVIDIA $NVDA H200 chips despite U.S. approval. China prefers to develop its own semiconductor chips rather than rely on foreign suppliers like NVIDIA.

Trump to NYT's David Sanger: "I had a total military victory. But the fake news, guys like you, write incorrectly. You're a fake guy. We had a total military victory. I actually think it's sort of treasonous what you write. You should be ashamed of yourself. I actually think it's treason."

Q: Did you talk to Xi about the cyber attacks that he's done in the United States? TRUMP: I did. And he talked about attacks we did in China. You know, what they do, we do too. We spy like hell on them too. I told him, 'we do a lot of stuff to you that that you don't know about.'

“America is the hottest nation in the world” while people can’t afford rent, groceries, healthcare, childcare, or a future without chronic exhaustion is certainly… a framing choice. A stock market is not the same thing as a healthy civilization. Neither is billionaire approval. Neither is military posturing. Neither is endless self-congratulation. Healthy civilizations are measured by: the stability of families, the health of ecosystems, the dignity of workers, the mental health of the population, the ability of young people to build lives, and whether ordinary people feel hopeful about the future. Right now millions feel economically trapped, psychologically burned out, socially fragmented, and increasingly distrustful of institutions altogether. That disconnect is why so many official victory speeches feel surreal to people living the actual conditions. Denial ain’t just a river in Egypt.

@DD_Geopolitics When you have a great need to explain that the USA is the ‘hottest’ country with the greatest military at every turn and word, then you know you are really far declining. Greatness doesn’t need to be explained. It explains itself.

China🇨🇳 vs the United States🇺🇸: China produces more cars annually than the US, Japan, Germany, India, and South Korea combined. China’s shipbuilding industry has an estimated capacity over 200 times larger than the United States’. China now installs more industrial robots annually than the rest of the world combined. China consumed over 10,000 TWh of electricity in 2025, the first country in human history to cross that threshold. The United States generated about 4,430 TWh. China is now using well over double America’s electricity. China poured more cement between 2011–2013 than the United States used in the entire 20th century. China graduates roughly 4 times as many STEM students per year as the United States. By purchasing power parity (PPP), China’s economy is now dramatically larger than America’s, often estimated at roughly $46 trillion vs $32 trillion. China now produces more commercial ships than the rest of the world combined. China has over 50,000 KM in high-speed rail, the US has almost none. China produces roughly half of the world’s industrial goods in key sectors like steel, shipbuilding, solar panels, batteries, and cement. China’s container ports dominate global trade. Shanghai alone moves vastly more cargo than any American port. China has become the largest trading partner for 157 countries, surpassing the United States in commercial reach. China added 315 GW of solar capacity in 2025 alone. The US added 43.2 GW in the same year. China installed over 7 times more solar in a single year than the United States.

‘US🇺🇸 victory in Iran would mean that the US can pivot to the Pacific for the first time and focus on China🇨🇳.’ -Captain James Fanell, former Director of Intelligence and Information Operations of the US Navy’s Pacific Fleet on Going Underground The one-at-a-time Ukraine proxy war, followed by the attack on Iran was Washington’s way of weakening two of China’s strongest allies, and creating advantageous situations for turning their full attention towards Beijing. The deep state’s plan to destabilise China will shortly come into effect, no matter what Trump’s friendly rhetoric in Beijing may be.

Major News: China and the U.S. Agree to Define Their Relationship as — Building a "Constructive and Strategically Stable China-U.S. Relationship" President Xi Jinping believes that this framework will provide strategic guidance for China-U.S. relations over the next three years—and potentially much longer—and is confident that it will be welcomed by the peoples of both nations as well as the international community. "Constructive and strategic stability" should be a positive stability characterized primarily by cooperation; a healthy stability where competition remains within reasonable bounds; a normal stability where differences are kept under control; and an enduring stability where peace is a tangible prospect. The relationship between China and the United States bears the weight of the well-being of over 1.7 billion people in both countries and impacts the interests of more than 8 billion people worldwide. The leaders of both nations must jointly shoulder this historic responsibility, steering the colossal vessel of China-U.S. relations to move steadily forward along the correct course. The concept of a "Constructive and Strategically Stable China-U.S. Relationship" is not merely a slogan; rather, it must be translated into concrete actions taken by both sides, moving toward each other in good faith. Trump: "This is an extremely wonderful day and a significant visit; both sides have engaged in positive and constructive dialogue. The U.S.-China relationship is the most important bilateral relationship in the world; our two nations must strengthen cooperation to create a bright future for the entire globe."

TRUMP-XI JUST PUBLISHED THE EXACT LIST OF WHAT THEY AGREED ON ABOUT IRAN AND HORMUZ Not vague summaries. Not "productive talks." NAMED COMMITMENTS. SPECIFIC POINTS. Item by item. 🇺🇸 US companies get expanded access to Chinese markets — signed off in Beijing, May 14 🇨🇳 China increases investment into the United States 🇺🇸 China cracks down harder on fentanyl flowing into America 🌾 China buys more American agricultural products 🛢 Hormuz Strait must stay open — both sides committed in writing ⚓ China explicitly opposes militarization of the Strait of Hormuz ⛽ China opposes anyone charging tolls to pass through Hormuz 🛳 China will buy MORE American oil specifically to reduce its own dependence on the Hormuz route ☢️ Both sides agree: Iran cannot have nuclear weapons 💀 9 named commitments 💀 ZERO quantitative targets in the readout 💀 ZERO new enforcement board created 💀 100% of the Hormuz points exist because Iran nearly shut the world's oil supply in February 2026 Every point on this list exists because Brent crude hit $113 a barrel after US-Israel strikes on Iran triggered the largest oil disruption in modern history. Not diplomacy for its own sake. CRISIS MANAGEMENT. China is Iran's top oil buyer. China just publicly told Tehran that a closed Hormuz is bad for Beijing too. The 2020 Phase One deal had the same structure. China missed almost every agricultural target in that deal. This readout has no numbers and no referee. I'll share more details shortly so turn on notifications, this is VERY important.

@jimstewartson The business model isn't reliable. First, there's the Outer Space Treaty that limits who owns what. Second, do we need more satellites? If SpaceX-Lax plans a colony on da' Moon, Musk will be long dead before it happens. Shareholders like returns each quater.

Xi Jinping is putting on a clinic: “The whole world is watching our meeting. The International situation is turbulent. The world is at a new crossroads: Can China and the US overcome the Thucydides Trap and create a new paradigm to meet global challenges together.” The Thucydides Trap is the structural tension that occurs when a rapidly rising power (China) threatens to displace an established ruling power that is in decline (US). By mentioning the Thucydides trap, Xi Jinping is signaling that China is the new leader of the free world and what’s remarkable is, unlike the U.S., China achieved this without dropping bombs, waging endless wars, or spending $1 trillion a year on its military. Instead China became the leader of the free world by investing in its people with housing, education, health care, and the best modern infrastructure in the world, and investing in its neighbor countries through its Belt and Road Initiative, which has funded ports, railways, and energy networks across the Global South. The US became a “superpower” through endless wars, corruption, and selling out its own people to the billionaire class while China became a superpower and surpassed the US by building trade and relations with the world and investing in its people instead of wars. Americans would be wise to take note and then change our corrupt government.
