As an AD, I’ve learned most parents believe sports teach accountability along with many other lessons. That belief sometimes changes when the accountability affects their own child directly.

I threw batting practice for the first 17 years of my career. I developed a lot of good high school and division 3 college players. The last 9 years it’s been 99% high velo machine work. The development has led to division 1 guys, pro players and my first big leaguer.

I am beyond thrilled and blessed to announce that I am staying home and have accepted the position of Sports Director at @NewsChannel10.
Back in June 2024, this station took a chance on a young man straight out of Arizona State University and covering sports in this community has been an incredible journey; and I am excited to take on this new role leading our coverage.
Thank you to my colleagues, mentors and the amazing athletes/coaches/fans who make covering local sports so special. I can't wait to continue telling your stories and bringing more great coverage to the Texas Panhandle area.
