@saviichanx It takes a lot of courage to call out bad behavior, especially when it has become so normalized that people engaging in it don't even realize that it's wrong. If you can't apply the Golden Rule on the internet, you're just another fuckwad. See the illustration below.

This is about to be one of the LONGEST and most honest tweets I have ever written. This is my answer for why content creators are quitting: 1) The majority of the fresh 18 year old's are tainting the adult spaces for 18+ creators. Their lack of empathy and obsessive bullshit behavior over someone not liking them or not wanting to work with them is exhausting. They seem to act almost entitled to be handed success instead of actually putting the years in for natural growth. 2) The creators in the 30+ bracket are becoming BFF's with people who are fresh 18, and unsurprisingly becoming more dramatic because of the people they surround themselves with. When you befriend the most dramatic age group, you're met with dramatic surroundings. 3) The streaming market is flooded now and since everyone and their mom streams. It's oversaturated making it virtually impossible to be discovered. 4) The hate on all angles for no reason has become so toxic that even the creators that don't stream at all (hi, I'm one of them) get doxxed and harassed to the point of quitting. 5) So many people get mad at situations they, THEMSELVES, have created and have the audacity to turn around and scream how horribly bad the person who did nothing wrong is. Thus ruining their reputation and also making creators who don't even know them talk shit. 6) People will scream their mental health diagnosis' are the reason they treat other people like shit or don't have any friends because they "can't help it." If you truly have no friends because of it, then MAYBE you need to actually seek professional help and put the effort in to change yourself. If no one likes you, there's a reason. That reason is YOU. 7) Once you reach a certain point you realize you can't be friends with everyone anymore, because everyone always wants something out of you. Whether it be promotion, free art, free photography, free renders, free ANYTHING. 8) When you reach SUPER high points it's fucking lonely because you learn that you can't trust a single person except for the people you love the most, and even then those people might cancel you. 9) What was supposed to be a hobby starts sucking the soul out of you to the point where you become SO STUCK you feel like you have no options so leaving is the healthiest choice. 10) Hiatus' do not work. You will come back feeling exactly the same unless it's 6+ months of time off, which no full time content creator can afford to take. AND FINALLY NUMBER 11: TOO MANY PEOPLE OPENLY, AND PUBLICLY LIE ABOUT THE DUMBEST SHIT DAILY. Actual REAL Examples: - Lying about needing medical equipment to go spend it on art instead and then posting said art. - Lying about needing shit for their kids but spend it on a fursuit instead and then make content with said suit. - Lying about age. (This is exactly why I never collab with anyone I don't know. It is NEVER worth that risk.) - Lying about using ANYTHING but VRCHAT to make content when you know all it takes is saying fucking nothing when you post. ^ This last one is especially important. You look stupid as fuck lying about something that genuinely doesn't even warrant it. Which only makes me wonder how comfortable and confident you are lying about anything/everything else. If you made it to the end, you get a cookie. If you got BINGO because you have been through the same shit, you get 10 cookies.
