@RodAVanier Liberals would make tax payers pay for it. Conservatives would make private industry pay for it.

False! There is no evidence that Trump provided Canada with any opportunity to get back on track. However, Dominic Leblanc and his team are ready, willing and able to pick up the conversations at a moment's notice!
Melissa 🇨🇦@MelissaLMRogers

I know many are TEMPTED to blame Canada’s problems on President Trump but please be reminded if anything, President Trump has provided Canada an opportunity to get back on track, and our problems are not his fault We used to be doing well 👀🇨🇦

Here are some reasons why the CPC continues to flounder: -Poilievre is doing now, (appearing on Joe Rogan, and travelling to the U.S. and elsewhere) what he should’ve done a year and a half ago. In politics, timing is everything, and that window has closed. Voters have moved on, so it doesn’t matter how good the message is now; it’s no longer landing. You can just tell how tepid the reaction has been about his appearance on Rogan from even CPC supporters. It was supposed to have broken the internet but it's barely registered. -The public doesn’t see the world the way CPC partisans do. They know U.S. tariffs have hurt the economy, and they don’t blame Canada for it. -Nor do they see this as some grand Canadian failure. If anything, they think Canada is making a good-faith effort to manage difficult relationships, whether with the U.S. or any other country. -Nor do they buy Polievre's simplistic solutions to everything, like digging up a piece of ground, extracting oil, and exporting it to the world. And, if you’re surprised by any of this, you’ve probably been living in an echo chamber where everything is a grand conspiracy. The way out isn’t doubling down or mocking voters but recognizing where they actually are. Until the CPC does that, it will keep inflicting damage on its own brand, and continue to be in opposition for a very long time.

It actually defies belief. The more reasonable Poilievre sounds, the less Carney accomplishes, the more time he spends out of the country, the longer we go without any meaningful engagement with our most important trading partner and the more our economy tanks and our young people suffer - the more popular Carney becomes! Oh Canada!🇨🇦

@CanadianPolling Inflation and government spending through the roof, citizens polarized more than ever, healthcare politicized, etc. What a success!

Considering house prices are going down and inflation adjusted are effectively the same price as 10 years ago, seems the Liberals were the right choice…..

@DRodbone Because everything Poilievre does is to instantly gain in the polls....you Liberals project too much. Stop thinking about what's best for your political party and start thinking about whats best for your country.

Huh. Looks like Pierre didn't get that Joe Rogan bump he was looking for. Turns out we were right. The Canadian demographic who watches Rogan already intend to vote for him, and this stunt didn't move the needle at all. Too little. Too late.

I just love these separatists in Alberta. They complain about Canada but they don't have the guts to leave Canada & check out a place where they might be happy. They sit in Alberta play the blame game every single day. Sell your home & try Florida. No guts. Just miserable people

@oneleglover @MPelletierCIO You think we should fund another pipeline at 4 times the cost of one that would have been built by private industry? The last one was going to be built for 10 billion and funded privately. Instead Liberals forced private industry out and we paid 40 billion to have it built
