To improve our understanding of these changes, researchers are studying observational data of the Earth's Energy Imbalance and Surface Air Temperature. The R&D project aims to estimate their mean, trends, and variability, allowing for detailed characterization of the fluxes of the global energy cycle and its responses to anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions. #LTSsénégal #ClimateChange Ces 27 et 28 juin 2024, ENDA ENERGIE en partenriat avec les ministères de l'environnement et de l'energie, organise une session technique essentielle pour la Stratégie Long Terme (LTS) du Sénégal. Cette rencontre vise à élaborer les narratifs des scénarios de transition infrastructurelle, industrielle et du système alimentaire. Et ceci est un pas tres imlportant vers un développement durable et une réduction des émissions conformément à l'Accord de Paris (Article 4.19). La LTS du Sénégal, en cours d'élaboration avec le soutien du Ministère de l'Environnement et de la Transition Écologique (METE), du Ministère de l'Énergie, du Pétrole et des Mines (MEPM), et l'appui de AFD et IDDRI, est une initiative ambitieuse pour guider le Sénégal vers un avenir à faibles émissions de carbone. L'objectif principal de cette session est de consolider les scénarios de transition infrastructurelle en examinant les orientations politiques, en affinant les formulations et en discutant des outils de modélisation appropriés. Cette approche collaborative permettra d'assurer une planification stratégique et intégrée,fondamental pour la durabilité et la résilience de l'économie Sénégalaise.
