The Lakers may have to pick between LeBron and Rui Hachimura this offseason for a few reasons 1. Their individual cap holds (Lebron $59.5M) and Rui ($27.3M) and projected salaries (LeBron $20-30M?) and Rui ($15-22M) would eliminate their cap space 2. All 3 of Lebron, Rui, and Luka cannot play together very often. They posted a -6.0 net rating when they shared the court together this season 3. Rui prefers to start and that cannot happen if LeBron and Luka already are in the starting lineup Tough choice because LeBron is obviously still very good, but Rui presents a longer-term option. Rui has also become great friends with Luka.
