I do feel for the English, out of 55-60 colonies only 4 ( 🇺🇸 🇨🇦 🇳🇿 🇦🇺) are successful The French are worse, out of 30 colonies only 0.5 ( 🇨🇦) turned out successful Let’s compare their former colonies GDP per capita combined today: Spain: $10.7K British: $9.5K French: $2.6K

30 years later in Shanghai. In 30 years, China accomplished what took developed countries 100 years to do, without invading, colonizing and plundering.

adding to this, a clear sign of the movement’s fracturing is @mikitaposts growing tendency to criticize it as his belarusian roots demonstratably take precedence over ukraine

I do feel for the Spanish out of their like 20 colonies only 2 are successful (Chile and Uruguay)

Argentina 🇦🇷 and Spain 🇪🇸 are condemned to understand each other Some things to remember this Sunday: - Argentina 🇦🇷 is the country with the highest amount of Spaniards living abroad... - Spain 🇪🇸 is the country with the highest amount of Argentinians living abroad, too - Both are Catholic countries - Both countries have reached the final match by defeating historical rivals - Both were part of a single country (not a colony but a viceroy) and share the vast majority of its culture Some of my best friends are Argentinians, and we share a way of understanding the world Don't let football divide us

China has expelled Ma Xingrui, a former Politburo member, from the ruling Communist Party on corruption charges, making him the third sitting member of the elite decision-making body to be purged since 2025 as President Xi Jinping intensifies his anti-graft campaign reut.rs/44pfiVR

This is a job that probably only exists in China: itinerant honey seller, who move around with their bees depending on the season. This is in Inner Mongolia where this particular seller spends his summers. We asked him and he moves 5 to 6 times a year, chasing flowers, typically ending up in Yunnan during the winters. There are actually quite a few of these honey sellers in the Chinese countryside: if you are in a place with many flowers at a given moment, you're more likely than not to see some! We bought a big 1kg pot of honey for RMB 50 (about $7). Some of the best honey I've ever tried!
