This x-ray is of a child presenting to the emergency department with the No. 1 cause of death in children in the USA. I've been an Emergency Medicine doctor in the UK for 15 years and I have not once seen this presentation in an adult let alone a child. What does that tell you?

@thegradmedic I am a nurse in Central London, my starting salary was NOT £32,000. It is £28,000, after tax and student loan I take home about £1700 a month. I have a MSc in Nursing, and 3 years experience....

NHS ITU nurse, I’m LEGALLY BANNED from industrial action (A&E nurses also) but my ballot posted to @theRCN showed my support! Pay NO!l (Tho l’d like to put food on table) 45,000 vacancies in NHS England -> patients are unable to be safely cared for. We (UK) can surely do better!

So the government are telling nurses, to consider their patients before they go on strike. This comment is entirely insulting to all nurses. The government should consider the patients when they are setting the pay of those who are caring for them.
