One of the reasons is probably TXTR not loading properly but it didn't change in 2.0. Having a discord would be def be better to discuss this

@Fancy2209Real btw: if you want you can do GMS2 related things already, considering that Undertale is somewhat "complete" already, aside from some quirks like instance ticking order (which breaks the cutscene in room_torhouse3) and that the PS2 target is not 100% finished yet (but that's fine)

The game DOES run faster than how it is supposed to be (it runs at the PS2 refresh rate), however the game FPS does slow down depending on what's happening (sometimes below 30 FPS)

@namedude_dev Yeah.
The mods were: change app icon and default settings, remove some security features (like Escape to exit fullscreen), limit window resizing options, add Steam achievements API, add fixes for Linux/SteamDeck, and change where files are saved. @Fancy2209Real did most of it.

Find Matt's Cats will be the first Steam game made specifically to run in Ruffle, a Flashplayer emulator that is usually used for game preservation. All the graphics are standard Flash vector art.
Hoping to encourage more devs to try it!

@KupoGames Also means you can do cool stuff like carrying a save from Newgrounds to the full game (if you implement NGIO Cloud Saves)

Apparently the Newgrounds API lets me unlock NG medals even when the game is not being hosted on NG. This allows silly things like requiring players to buy the full game on Steam to unlock medals. I'm not gonna do that, but it seems to be possible.

fun fact: this UI’s made with custom bindings for ImGui, not a native MC UI! Really impressive how much it can do if you push it.
(ImGui is the tool used by many games to make UI’s that look like this, usually. Most people don’t use it for anything more)

I'm still working on my Undertale PlayStation 2 port (it isn't a port, it is a re-implementation of the GameMaker runner, so you could port other games or run mods)
The runner itself is almost done, that is, you can already play Undertale on it and get pretty far into the game
