@DiGi_Valentine Maybe it's pure cope, but there must be something on the horizon. Because I don't understand why they would delist Sega Mega Drive Classics, and shut down Sega Forever, and delist all those titles too. Unless they had a plan for those older titles moving forward.

SEGA Universe has responded to the feedback they got regarding their old game IP's. They say they're listening, they can't share details yet but they want us to look forward to future updates. I'll be cautiously optimistic here and say things might be ok. Let's wait and see.

It seems the new #SEGAUNIVERSE initiative being for "Goods", "Events" and "Talks", with no mention of games, ports or collections etc is not going down well with anybody, including their Japanese fan base. Especially after Sega Forever titles were shut down and delisted.

@JD2DG @sincespacies Yup, and K-Mart, and D.E.K.A, and Dick Smith. I remember when we had more dedicated game stores, too, like Central Park and Gamesman. A lot of Gamesman stock ended up at the Warehouse super cheap, got a lot of my Sega Saturn games that way 😅

@JD2DG @sincespacies Yup. I mean, we have The Warehouse too, but their prices are stupid. Even their "clearance" games are basically full price. They only get the 'main' releases too, no niche stuff or special editions etc.

@IDWSonicNews @ComicBook I'm hoping that once they get enough content for Classic Sonic, they will do a large hardcover like the main series gets. The smaller ones are nice and all, but not every Classic Sonic series or one shot has gotten one. 😕

@SubsonicSparkIe I was expecting at least the short to be in there. Especially since Origins included the Mania Adventures shorts. Was great to see Fang animated at long last. The fact they are sitting on a complete story and just haven't released it and didn't use it in game is just baffling.

There’s a lot of evidence that the initial plan for Sonic 3&K was that Eggman’s shenanigans on Angel Island would awaken the true final villain: a “legendary dragon” who Sonic would fight at Doomsday zone. The original Hidden Palace mural would’ve depicted this fated battle 🐲

@portalmedoo I never trust these "audiences and critics needed the light on", even "science" found it scary type hype advertising. You always end up watching the movie, and it's the most bland, cookie cutter, oft times funny more than frightening movie. Maybe I've seen too many horrors 🤣

BREAKING: A new music album called "Forever Fast - 35th Anniversary of Sonic The Hedgehog" has been spotted on CDJapan! It is described as a compilation of vocal themes from across the series, from Sonic Adventure to Sonic Racing CrossWorlds, and comes with a sticker. The cover is yet to be added. The album consists of two discs. The release date is currently set for June 24th. #SonicTheHedgehog #Sonic35th #SonicNews

@LlennoxYt Kids are a lot more on to it in some aspects than people give them credit for a lot of the time, sure it differs person to person, but if my son, who was six at the time Frontiers came out, could beat it.. then yeah, they have taken a nose dive in difficulty over the years.
