My instant reaction to Elliot Anderson’s reported £130m move to Manchester City 🚨 As someone who has covered transfer markets for years, this could be one of the worst things to happen to the Premier League. Not because Anderson isn’t a top talent, but because a player with a realistic market value around £60–65m suddenly going for £130m completely destroys valuation logic. Now every club will point to this deal to inflate their own prices. The market was already broken. This could make it worse..
