Stay Belvedere Hotels — ran 51 hotels until their contract was axed in 2025. Calder Conferences — raked in millions just booking the hotels. Specific hotels publicly named (many now closed but they DID it): The Bell Hotel (Epping) Banbury House Hotel (Banbury) Marine Court Hotel (Bangor, NI) 15 Citrus Hotel (Cheltenham) Holiday Inn Heathrow (London) Britannia Hotel Wolverhampton Madeley Court Hotel (Telford) OYO Lakeside (St Helens) Crewe Arms Hotel (Crewe) Sure Hotel by Best Western (Aberdeen) The Rock Hotel & Wool Merchant Hotel (Halifax) And dozens more via the above firms. At peak, over 400 hotels across the UK were used. Hundreds more unnamed properties. Billions wasted while British people struggle with housing. These places chose profit over their own communities.
