Personality Mapping and Leadership Styles: “If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.” - Tsung Zu Leaders were taken through a personality mapping test to equip them with the knowledge of self and an understanding of the teams they lead and how to work with them. #Governance #Accountability #ADC_FLI #CSO_Executives

@FarajaDigital Exempting manufacturers of menstrual products from paying taxes encourages other entrepreneurs to invest in the manufacturing sector, increasing product accessibility but not affordability. Hence, government subsidies are a better option!

Menstrual products are still taxed in Uganda. Should they be tax-free, or should they be fully subsidized by government? What’s your position and why?

“Menstrual health is a right to every female, we need to come up with policies that justify the rights of women. A period friendly Uganda is possible but requires a collective effort” @BugembeNelson

“Menstrual products should be accessible, quality, and affordable. At least UGX. 1000. Men are stepping up and talking freely about menstruation, can even buy for their sisters pads, so let’s keep advocating for a period friendly environment”, @GloriaNabunnya

“Young girls are not taught enough about menstrual hygiene management. While found in confusion, men lure them into sexual activities at a cost of just a Rolex of UGX. 2000, which is how early pregnancies come about.” @BugembeNelson

We need to focus on community engagement to change the cultural norms around menstruation. In some communities it’s hard to find an employed married woman because men expect them to choose between a job or marriage. Community/cultural leaders need to be engaged on job equality
