I live 30mins from Whistler, I can’t handle sitting in traffic to go spend my day standing in lines, I prefer skiing and snowboarding not feeling like a herd of sheep. It’s a joke. @Jason is 100% right on this. I feel bad for people spending big bux to come ski here with their family. It can’t actually be fun.

For those complaining about the Summit Tournament being in Sioux Falls, just stop. Much, much more often than not, the best teams emerge. Great college BB fans in the region, and yes, many are SDSU fans. So what. The athletes deserve the best environment possible; SF provides it.

Devil’s Head, WI and Tamarack, ID are also joining Ikon as bonus mountains. This probably means Tamarack is also quitting Indy Pass. SilverStar, BC no longer a bonus Ikon mountain.

There are currently 69 G6 schools and 138 teams overall in FBS. None are likely to stand idly by and let someone else decide their fate.

If there is a split it’s not up to the G6 sports, it’s up to the NCAA. They’ll probably make some new conferences that FCS teams will trickle into.

Why would you assume current G6s are going to allow any FCS that wants to move up and join their conference for free? Makes no sense. You act like current G6s are just going to be OK with door opening wide. Why?

@McFeely_Inforum “Demand” is lessened from the FCS teams perspective and the “supply” from the G6 teams would explode overnight. Doesn’t matter because it wont happen but I would assume it would get “cheaper”. Whos to say new conferences wouldnt be made, otherwise we could get in for a cool 5 mil
