I mean, if we're doing this sort of thing, World Population Review offers basically this same IQ test online, it has been rather famously promoted in slums and on community college campuses...and their score for Nigeria is 93.

@UsedCzarSales @wil_da_beast630 No the animal didn’t grow in the first generation it took until the second. Cattle, was low quality forage performance that didn’t adjust until 2nd generation, which was why I found it interesting. Ashkenazi & Gazan’s share genetics but IQs differ. I find that interesting.

Seems as though the studies you are referencing are just common sense. If animal eats better as it grows, it will be bigger as an adult.

@UsedCzarSales @wil_da_beast630 I heard a deer study, bucks in S Dakota from the 19th century were big but not modern ones. They captured some & gave adequate nutrition the fawns were still small but the 2nd generation caught up. I’ve heard farmers have that experience with cattle performance too. Intriguing🤔

Genetics gives you the min/max for your IQ (maybe a 20 point difference between the 2), then a dozen factors determine where on that scale you end up.

@UsedCzarSales @wil_da_beast630 I agree the top probably isn’t nutrition etc, but I approached IQ tests differently & got different scores & that indicated to me that there is a learnable component. Plus I recognized some of the questions from my k-12 public Ed. So🤷♂️A lot of variables

I really don't find it all that logical to assume that the top IQs in any given group come from improved nutrition, but I'm sure it plays a small role.
There's no getting around the fact that the vast majority of intelligence comes from genetics, however.

@FarmLakes @wil_da_beast630 That's just selection bias, and always has been. Until just recently, only the top 5% of any of these countires was allowed to immigrate to america. OF COURSE the top 5% of most populations will be on par (or slightly better) than the average american.

I said we lived on the N side, worked full time, did family stuff & counted down the days we could leave so our kids didn’t get eaten alive by the culture there that aspires to be “streets.” Anyone can do it, no programs needed.
