This is misleading. Housing Board press notes mentioned 83,500 per sqyd for Raviryal Plot in the auction and linked this land parcel to “Future City”. In reality, this parcel is on the Srisailam Highway facing stretch, very close to the airport, right at the intersection of the Airport Road and Srisailam Highway. It is located opposite the upcoming WTC Shamshabad and Grand Hyatt Hyderabad Airport projects. That is the main reason for the strong interest and pricing. This land parcel has no direct connection to Future City, except that the road to Future City passes through this corridor while travelling from the airport. I am worried that some realtors may start using this 83,500 per sqyd narrative to aggressively market and hype real estate near Future City.

A couple booked a 2,600 sft villa (Mokila) on 220 sq yards and paid ₹1.08 crore in 2020. The builder promised delivery by Sept 2024, including a 6-month grace period. The buyers later approached the Consumer Commission alleging that construction had not even started and the money was not refunded The builder failed to provide evidence regarding additional land acquisition or approvals from HMDA even in 2024 The commission directed builder to refund ₹1.08 crore with 12% interest, along with ₹3 lakh compensation and ₹15,000 litigation costs. #Hyderabad #RealEstate
