Isolated showers for England and Wales today, otherwise bright although always a fair amount of cloud. Showers on and off throughout ion Scotland. Some patchy rain in western Ireland. Feeling warm.

Some seriously hot temperatures in Spain and much of the Mediterranean in the coming days. These are forecast highs for Thursday showing 40C+

Showers again through Wednesday. Most in the north and west where they could be heavy. Thundery showers for much of Scotland. Fewer showers in the east and south. Breezy north. Mild southern and east, cooler north and west.

Sunny spells and showers, some of these will be heavy and thundery. Rather a lot of cloud about across southern areas this morning, before sunny spells develop through the day. A fresher day compared to previous days. #weather #ukweather
