@andrew617617617 need? no, but for him to maximize his potential this on ball reps are crucial. work through the warts. hugo with on ball creation is a totally different prospect than what he was drafted as. he's already proven to be able to shoot 38.7 on catch and shoot threes

@EvilBillyyyy i think the shooting will be fine, he's handling a lot more offensive responsibility than he's use to while still competing at a high level so it's now suprise that efficiency is suffering, i'm 100% sure they'll fall when it's really game time

Hugo does not deal with defensive physicality well at all, one bump on the drive he's either immediately picking his dribble up or turning it over. something he really needs to work on

still going to rebound, pass, and defend at a high level. working on your weakness is what summer league is about, and so far i've seen him grow in areas he struggles

That’s honestly a superb answer tbh. He recognizes where he is really good and what he thrives at and he also recognize what he needs to work on to be on the court more. Walsh was very good last season. I was impressed with him ppl seem to forget what he is only like 21 or 22 years old lol.
