Trading Holiday and KP assisted getting Boston under the tax so they don’t get penalized and freeze up future assets
The Holiday trade netted them Simons which netted them Vuc which netted them a 27 mill TPE, got them under the tax, and allowed them to sign Mitchell Robinson this year
KP played a grant total of 32 games. He was traded to GSW mid season
Jaylen Brown netted them a contract that expiries a year early, that doesn’t need to be extended for 70+ mill a year, while also adding 2 valuable projected 1st round picks
So trading Jaylen, Jrue, and KP

Along with rebounding I believe Day 1 Chris Cenac provides extreme coverage versatility and prowess as a tagger and in Cover 2 situations
Foundation of these strengths is of course the athletic profile. His feel + technique still needs work leaving upside in even these departments, but I see the most feel from him as a tagger and when guarding two people in space
He covers SO much ground and when he sees the play before the ball gets there it's just nothing players can do

I hate that I can’t edit my original tweet to clarify that I don’t mean the entirety of Celtics media. That CLNS pod segment where the entire crew aside from Bobby made fun of and mocked Tatum for opening about the internal stress and doubt of returning to a team that has been thriving this year. Also the radio shows like 98.5 that are trying to push the exhausting Jaylen vs. Jayson narratives from multiple angles. To be clear NBC coverage and other local beats do an awesome job (yourself included). Himmelsbach is one of my favs as well
