@ShinRobjira Whatever we get afterwards I’m sure it’ll be cool but all I’m gonna say is that there’s a certain turtle who is in great need of more Showa Era/Brave representation in the MMS line and it’s kinda weird we didn’t get any MMS releases last year for his 60th anniversary.

I do think it’s very nice to see Bandai treating Heisei Godzilla with the respect and love he’s won over the decades as the defacto face of the franchise. This figure existing at all is BONKERS. BANANAS. Nuts, even.
I do wonder what will happen when it’s all been done though…

@GormaruIsland @GigaBashGame @X_SERN I’d really like some Non-Godzilla Toho representation in GigaBash in the future and seeing as how Rodan and Mothra are the only two of Toho’s Big 5 missing using their 56 and 61 designs respectively would scratch that itch nicely.
Sanda and Gaira would be cool to see as well🙏

@Goji_Nodes Crocodilians have these tiny black spots all over their jaws that help them detect motion in the water so it’s probably something like that.

@CorrectNansu Where I live the smaller turtles on the logs are usually the most common (in the mornings lately I’ve been seeing at least 15 - 20 of them at once) but once in a while I’ll come across a Snapping Turtle, these guys are my favorite to see because they get massive, they’re awesome!

In Japan, wild turtles (especially native species) are becoming rarer these days. I haven't had any personal experiences seeing them in the wild despite living in country side... (I've seen sea turtles in the wild, but not terrestrial or freshwater ones)

I know Kadokawa/Daiei is struggling financially so something like this might be hard to do but if they can make $3K gold statues, an expensive SHMA figure, and lower end Banpresto statues then what’s stopping new them from making new Bandai Movie Monster Series Gamera figures?

The idea of a spiritual successor to the original Bandai Gamera Memorial Box set in the Movie Monster Series line with updated sculpts and paint jobs to be more screen accurate being made makes me sad because I REALLY want it to happen but I know it won’t🫠

I’ve been REALLY tempted to buy some of these older Gamera Bandai Vinyls because Bandai hasn’t made any new MMS Showa Gamera figure since 2023. My only problem is that I’d feel like an absolute fool if Bandai releases new MMS Showa Gamera figures after I buy the old ones.
