I'm going to weigh in on the whole Katherine thing. There are no winners here. Anyone involved in sharing, receiving, DM'ing or posting of the photos will face judgement regarding it. Anyone happy that she was bullied into deleting her account should pray that she forgives you.

What she said, or whether she's hypocritical or not, has absolutely nothing to do with my condemnation of the response to her article by a few Orthodox Christians. (or anyone for that matter).

@FrenlyOfficer @orthodoxronin @FatherLongin She isn’t getting a free pass at all from this. As said, no one is a winner here. Everyone misses the mark every day. We shouldn’t judge them for doing so but at least pray for them to do better with themselves. 🗣️🗣️

A. Not a Priest B. Did you honestly expect any clergy to condone the release of those photos because someone didn't like what she said? Or they deemed her to be a hypocrite? Or her past wasn't to their approval? That's what a block button is for.

@DissidentLogan @FatherLongin My primary concern with the photos isn't that she was harmed, even though that's bad, it's that I've seen dozens of Orthodox accounts justifying sending intimate photos of another parishioner's body because people think her sins are worse than their own sins.

You are familiar with the block feature on this app? I am. I'm pretty sure everyone else is as well. Anyone could have blocked the "wolf" at any time. Instead, they chose a different path, which leads away from peace and into conflict, eventually leading to this chaos.
