The oncologist appointment went well. They gave me realistic expectations post surgery. Next week is basically appointments almost every day. 12 days until the tumor gets taken out.

Napalm Death last night were a lot of fun. What a brilliant venue Torquay Arena is. Lovely staff, clean and the bar prices were normal pub prices.

@Jerseypiper77 Are you OK hun? The problem with Invicta is that they don't have a single model of watch that is truly their own heritage design. They also sell stuff like this, use ancient movements and their QA is horrifying. If you like them, fair enough.

Invicta is a great watch brand, whether or not you like every single one of their watches. They're only hated because everything on their website is always on sale. Granted, in addition to making watches that most people would absolutely wear, they also make watches that are probably not your taste at all... but that's a dumb reason to not buy something you would otherwise like. It's like refusing to buy a certain model of car that you love, because you don't like one of the make's other models, and it positively makes you look like an idiot to most pragmatic people. 1. Invicta uses Seiko NH movements in their automatics, which all you hypocrites love in microbrands. 2. They manufacture their own "Flame Fusion" crystals, which were proven to be almost exactly the same as Hardlex, which all you hypocrites love on Seikos, and would literally flip TF out about if a microbrand did the same thing. 3. They make their divers out of solid stainless steel, which all you hypocrites drool over when it's a microbrand. 4. Their Grand Divers have solid steel milled clasps, which all you hypocrites claim is a sign of a quality watch. 5. Their Pro Divers and Grand Divers typically cost less than $250 USD, which would make all you hypocrites literally shit yourself about if it were a microbrand. Invicta doesn't make shitty watches; you're just an extremely stupid and gullible person who regurgitates what you were told by more expensive watch brands who want you to buy their watches instead. Yes, this is a random watch rant.
