@jayain_raju A good number of seats exist where the odds of winning of either side is equally good. These seats will determine who will form the next Government in Assam.

This is Maharaja Prithu Flyover in Guwahati, inaugurated by CM Dr. @himantabiswa on March 10, 2026. Thank you @narendramodi to have such CM. Today found,it's damaged. Bumpy. Cracks. If 108 ambulance drive with labour pain case,no need to reach GMCH. These bumps are enough🙏

Assam is the Bihar of the NE. Zero critical thinking, no ambition, no regionalism. While other NE states fiercely protect their identity and move ahead. State is influenced by outsiders narratives and freebie addiction.

Do you know why the Maruti Dzire is India’s bestselling car in FY2026 (April 2025 to March 2026), registering total sales of 2.3 lakh units? The Dzire’s continued success stems from its strong fundamentals: competitive pricing, high fuel efficiency, low cost of ownership, widespread service support and its consistent demand in both private and fleet segments. This achievement is particularly noteworthy given that SUVs accounted for 66 percent of the overall passenger vehicle market during the same period. Despite the clear shift in consumer preference towards SUVs, the Dzire’s strong volumes highlight that demand for sedans remains relevant. Maruti Suzuki also strengthened its position in the sedan space, with its segment share rising to 57.2 percent in FY26, up from 45.8 percent in FY2017. The Dzire played a key role in this growth and continues to support the brand’s multi-body-style strategy, even as the sedan segment gradually shrinks. Since its launch in 2008, it has surpassed 3 million cumulative sales in the Indian market. Currently, the Dzire remains the only sedan in Maruti Suzuki’s portfolio following the discontinuation of the Ciaz. While some Ciaz buyers are moving towards SUVs and MPVs, a section of customers continues to consider the Dzire, reinforcing its importance in the lineup. The Maruti Dzire scored a 5-star safety rating in Bharat NCAP crash tests. It is powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z12E petrol engine that produces 82 HP and 112 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT. For the CNG variant, the engine produces 69.75 HP and 101.8 Nm of torque. What are your thoughts on the country’s highest-selling sedan?

Found this bizarre analogy: “All year, people in Assam have been doing Hindu-Muslim politics but now the floods unite them all.” Insane or mindless? Flood is an issue that Assam has been trying to resolve for decades. It has only increased due to many man-made issues over the years. Geography and climate change are also major contributing factors. But, to drag such a pertinent issue of demography and cultural change with a natural calamity is insanely wrong. Assam has witnessed Hindu-Muslim politics because some ‘Miya’ dared to stand inside the historic Rang Ghar & claim they will capture Upper Assam and that Assam is not the hereditary property of the Assamese. Hindu-Muslim has become pertinent in Assam due to the threat from the illegal immigrants from Bangladesh, mostly Muslims, who have directly threatened, in fact, changed the demographics in lower Assam. Just for a few likes, views & to remain among the ‘popular’ opinion, these insane analogies are thrown out. Assam’s battle against floods needs scientific solutions. Still, baseless arguments will only lower the significance of how there have been numerous incidents where these Miyas have targeted and threatened Hindu Assamese in Assam.

@imRGS7 I would rather blame the organisers and a section of the media for hyping Marmita Mitra so much. Anyone with a semblance of classical knowledge can easily make out that she is a poor singer with her basics all over the place.

India becoming an SUV-heavy market is honestly strange. Narrow roads, tight cities, chaotic parking and everything points to smaller cars. But aspiration > practicality here. We don’t buy for utility. We buy for how it makes us feel we’ve “arrived.”

@TheSanjivKapoor I don't know why Kolkata's roads even if freshly laid have a very poor riding quality. Just take the example of the road from Sec 5, Salt Lake to Chingrihata Crossing. Does Bengal lack good engineers ?

What is notable is how clean and well maintained the major streets of the city are. Not just in some posh or showcase/ privately developed areas, but in most parts. Those who disagree or troll either haven't been there recently, or not travelled recently in other Indian cities.

@_curry_ninda_ @AnanyaSaikia667 It is true that he is doing it out of his love for journalism/election coverage. However, it is also true that the present dispensation at the Centre launched a witch-hunt against him ultimately compelling him to surrender and sell NDTV to Adani Group.

@volklub Had I been the MORTH Minister, I would have set up an autonomous body (like UIDAI) for the issue of DL pan India. Mandate all existing DL holders to migrate to the new system after appearing for Theoretical/Practical tests in a phased manner.

Like Demonetisation, we need all licenses cancelled for big vehicles first and reissue it after rigorous tests & medical checks. Make truck driving a high paying job. Same for cars & bikes, state by state. Hire some Japanese/ German private agency for this whole process with zero politicians involvement. There is no other way to fix this mess.
DriveSmart🛡️@DriveSmart_IN

If it's any other car, people would have blamed the build quality of the car giving random examples of desh ka loha cars 🤐 Last time Volvo, now BMW. Unless, driving licences are issued with proper testing, roads are made safe, absolute safety is a myth!
