@choc Told my homie don’t buy 2k. They cheating and they’ll always be 3 seasons behind the better builds. Tough 2k is pay to win and can’t stop cheating.
@Beluba If someone is in perfect guarding position, you’re not open. You might not be heavily contested, but you’re still not open. Their presence should affect you.
@Beluba Open. Hands up defense used to be all it took to make a person miss on 2k. Now hands up doesn’t even mean anything. If you don’t jump it’s over, even in paint. What will a defender just standing there with auto 10% contest when people are shooting over hands up 30-60% contest?
@choc Why are we still talking about this. MIKE WANG said he wished everyone shot with rhythm shooting in the interview with Joe. That shit ain’t going nowhere. That’s his favorite mechanic.
If rhythm shooting was removed, nearly every major issue in the game would vanish.
You wouldn’t hear complaints about 7’4 builds, because they’d actually miss shots.
You wouldn’t hear complaints about contests, because people wouldn’t green half bars.
Do you understand?
@Swag_x_Godly Isn’t the problem because contest is capped by height vs height?
Meaning if you not tall, you don’t get the max contest because the code says YOU’RE TOO SHORT.
This doesn’t happen on my 6’11 or 7’4 when I contest. 7’4s miss.
I made a 6’8 backend and it gets shot over.
I see people defending the contest system due to the game mode difficulty of the clip being shown and adrenaline and angle of contest and having good rating/badges etc….
This is my 6’8 PF, Max Wingspan, 92 Perim, HOF challenger, ProAm Difficulty, 93 Block, Max Adrenaline
THIS WAS LESS THAN A 20% CONTEST

@JayLionell@The2KCentral Yeah sounds like you’re talking 1v1 in theater. I’m talking about a C v C. It still doesn’t matter. You can’t stop post moves and fades simply because nobody had interior until Vet 2+ or higher. Post will win with high close shot, post, and middy like you said. It’s been this way
@FatzMVP@The2KCentral 6’8 isn’t contesting 7’3. Ya’ll showcase how ya’ll learned your basketball knowledge through 2k and not through playing competitively outside. If a 7’3 big with 99 post fade takes 10 fades over a high 80s 6’8 interior big he should make 7/10 and miss the 3 because of mistiming.
Splash speaks on Post Scorers in NBA 2K:
“If it's bad, the three people that play post scorer a year is mad. If it's good, every person that has to guard those three post scorers a year is mad. Post scoring should be cool, it should be good.
Because what a lot of y'all don't understand is, y'all be out there on your 6’8” do it all defensive back end swing Draymond Green build, and that person chose to push his glasses up when he made his build and make a 7’3” 99 post control post scorer. You're not guarding that.”
@BeLiKeDime@thadonejune07 They’re literally missing that lil speed boost from the defender. Soon as that triggered everything else is animation. Nothing you could do about that. Chase down badge won instead of it being real physics and timed. 💯
I didn't do a euro, I got forced into a layup animation. I triggered a flashy dunk. The whole thing is one animation...the game cheats and decided I was going to get stopped - so as soon as it registered that I had an open attempt at the rim (once I triggered to score) it took control of the scenario. You can even see the AI hesitate before the canned scenario begins.
Battlefield 6 seems to be well-optimized for X3D processors. As per a Twitch streamer, Battlefield 6 was able to run at 300+ fps on average with Ryzen 7 9800X3D.
