@Caspersight I have an open mind. But for me much is still hear-say, and I will be more convinced by evidence over and above narrative. It's a tricky thing.
English

@colleen_torp1 Harper. No contest. Carney is against sovereignty and is happy to see Canada become poor to further WEF goals.
English

@Breedlove22 Fits my profile, too. INTJ with 140+. But I think others would understand it if they were willing to put in the time and work, and not be too ego-driven.
English

@intocryptoverse @0xHeatt Not worth arguing against dogma, Ben. Logic and reasoning will only convince people who are open to the possibility that they could be wrong.
English

@0xHeatt Perhaps stay in your own lane, which as far as I can tell is shitcoining
English

Bunch of Satanists made you believe lies backed by the dumbest "proofs" imaginable.
No matter how much you know about trading, you're as naive as 3y old.
University professors were perfect example during COVID, when "deniers" were mocked same way you're doing now, clown.

Make a single post about Artemis II, and I get flooded with moon landing deniers and flat earthers. It now makes sense why so many people buy the dumbest shit imaginable in crypto. They want to be pessimistic about real developments that shape our future, and be eternal optimists on shitcoins that are going to zero
English

@intocryptoverse I agree that we can only go by what has happened in the past, which also makes things forever uncertain since we face the problem of induction. We can only estimate probabilities based on a limited sample set. But that's at least scientifically-oriented.
English

I have no way of being able to test that, so I could only speculate. I have seen videos and books from a significant number of people who've experienced near-death experiences, who say they clinically died for a short period of time and that they went to the "other side," where things felt "more real" than they experienced here, and said they were sent back, and it was revealed to them that they chose whatever suffering they went through in this life in order to learn from it and grow spiritually, but that's hear-say and I have no way to know. One of them was a neurosurgeon named Eben Alexander, who did not believe in a spiritual realm until his experience. But again, I have no way to know since it didn't happen to me.
English

@FazSteve @exigenced @LensScientific No... I mean, like, actual hell... Like, we are already there, or start there, and then ascend, or something... I was just curious... Thank you, for your response...
Side note: Have you heard about this:

@LueElizondo Sorry for your suffering, Brother. I hope you recover quickly and recover well. Take care.
English

Hey folks, I wanted to give you a brief update since my accident post. First, I am REALLY looking forward to seeing everyone soon! Secondly I’ve been recording daily videos of my recovery, and will be putting them out for anyone that’s interested to follow along.
I thought it might be helpful to record and document some of the recovery process from this recent accident. I hope this can potentially help others who may have suffered something similar, and it’s a reminder to always wear a helmet! I will sharing some more videos of my recovery in the coming days.
Again I am very excited to be making the journey to see everyone soon out on the Persona non Grata podcast tour.
English

@intocryptoverse LOL. People can make their own decisions based on their own beliefs, and hopefully learn from their mistakes and adapt. If not, there is an adage that comes to mind: "Life keeps on delivering the same lessons to us until we learn them."

Was fortunate enough to see the Artemis II launch in person. Really cool to see humans going back to the moon! Exploring the next frontier is vital to our long-term survival.
English

@omar_Thubiti @LensScientific There is subjectivity in the way things are perceived and interpreted, for sure. This is an entire philosophical discussion itself.
English

@FazSteve @LensScientific The biggest problem is that you are objecting to the One who created this mind with which you think. What is immoral now?
English

I don't think so necessarily, if you metaphorically mean "hell on earth," because conditions change, we have some control over our life path, we have agency, and some things depend on our perspective. But we can certainly create hell-like conditions for ourselves if we make foolish choices. Sometimes horrible things can happen randomly, though.
English

@FazSteve @exigenced @LensScientific Do you think that we may already be in hell, because of universal truths like this one..?
English

You can rest assured that the views of this guy do not represent all of Canada. Probably some dude who drinks the Kool-Aid, listens to CBC propaganda and believes it. The Liberal party of Canada definitely does not represent me (a Canadian) or my values. I love the USA and very much like Americans. And my wife and many of my close friends feel the same as I do.
English

@exigenced @LensScientific I am not sure what this means. I'm not trying to be difficult; I just don't know what events or what things you mean, or if by 'the self' you mean awareness/being conscious?
English

@FazSteve @LensScientific The self is made up of events between things
English

@exigenced @LensScientific Do you mean that you're looking at the system (of life and energy movement) as a whole, instead of the individual parts? Sort of like the whole organism as distinct from its individual cells that comprise it? Like an Emergence Theory perspective?
English

@FazSteve @LensScientific I agree. I more mean that you are actually the process taking place and not either one of the organisms. It doesn't matter which part of the chain you choose to identify with. The part that is most aware and is now reading this is the one that knows it is a shared destiny.
English

We do win much of the time; I agree. I just don't generally prefer zero-sum games, even if we have to exist in one (from a net "web of life" point of view). I accept reality as is, but I'm aware we can also wind up on the short end of the stick at some point without warning, and a lot of stuff isn't under our control. And it isn't just about life forms eating one another; our species operates at many levels by stealing resources from each other. At any rate, it is what it is.
English

@FazSteve @LensScientific you can imagine yourself as the one that wins sometimes brother
English

@ShannonMFHill Never heard of this myself, but it appears like it might taste good and now I want to test it out...
English

@zundamotisuki Activate the "immune system." The country is more important than the parasites.

@MbarkCherguia Loved it as a kid. This ride had various names in various venues, but it was basically a human centrifuge and was very fun and thrilling. 🙂
