Look, every game loses some players once the hype fades. ARC Raiders is still a great game, but I’d like to know what percentage of players left because of the lack of a PvE mode. I predicted this at launch, and people kept arguing with me about it.

@Reave okay. if they remove ABMM then they need to add a PvE only mode. let us make a new character and start from scratch.

this decline in playercount has nothing to do with the lack of updates but instead an issue with how the gameplay loop has evolved
people fell in love with the first 1-2 month struggle of an extraction shooter and haven't been able to experience that since
removing ABMM and forcing wipe is the solution

I've seen talk about Arc Raiders playercounts dropping significantly since launch. It's a really fun game, but the devs only have themselves to blame. You NEED to be updating your game with new maps, guns, modes and skins if you want players to return and they haven't done that.🤷♀️ DO BETTER and your players will stick around. Otherwise, there's millions of other experiences to choose from.

@FearedTheFox14 @ArcRaidersInfo PvE raiders are only peaceful if no one else tries to kill them. If there's no threat there's nothing happening but the same loop over and over, which will immediately get boring. You act like I don't know what I'm talking about, I'm 35 and have seen this happen many times.

@PendulumTribute @JROCKGamingYT @muaxh03 alright, then by that logic, "everyone disagrees" with PvP. cuz ur wrong. the PvErs are not a small minority. there was a post made by arc bulletin, i believe, they say. 30% of players like pvp and 30% pve and 40 percent are somewhere in the middle. so neither is a minority.

@Kallhem29 @muaxh03 You may be right, but I don't find it likely unless 1 of 2 things happen. 1) the PvE player count drastically reduces itself because of lack of content or 2) the Devs remove ABMM. With that being said at the end of the day it is an extraction shooter and was advertised as such.

It didn't need pve, it needs forced wipes, the only reason tarkov blew tf up twice a year for a month or two at a time was the wipes. It's the most fun part of extraction shooters, when everyone is struggling and fighting for gear, but if you don't grind out the massive resource dump for the expidition you dont get to wipe. If someone dosent feel like dropping a million coin value worth of shit into their expidition then there's no reason for them to keep playing the game except maybe to check out a new map every now and then

@IvoryDoor @muaxh03 because the arc ARE engaging to fight because they can do some funky shit sometimes and catch you off guard. figures you wouldn't know that if you PvP all the time. and not all of them are easy to deal with. and the queen and matriach fights are fun AF

@muaxh03 No disrespect but I genuinely don’t understand the call for PvE mode at all. PvE is by far the most repetitive and boring aspect of the game. The arc are just not very engaging to fight after you’re encountered each kind. They all have a gimmick that’s pretty easy to figure out.

But these salty sea dogs are missing out on such a massive part of the experience by avoiding PvP entirely.
