There’s just something about drinking beer, grilling and listening to 90’s country that makes me feel good lol

Calling a game derivative because it's shown from the perspective of a bodycam is absolutely absurd. It's on par with calling FPSes "Doom clones." How dare a game be... based on real life? Look, asshole, I can find thousands of graphic bodycam videos, all on the surface web.

Fun fact that you probably already know; XVII (specifically written in Roman numerals) is often considered unlucky because it's an anagram of VIXI, which literally means "I lived" in Latin, but not in the "I lived, bitch" way. The "my life is over, time to die" way.

Sitting is a completely needless feature, it's literally not gameplay, and it makes sense why most devs don't dedicate resources to including it. But I love being able to sit down and watch the world go by, it's such a comfy feature.

Most mods are gonna be coomer mods, naturally, but I'm an immersion man! Give me food animations, needless details, polish every low-res texture to a mirror shine while retaining the vanilla art style, etc. Oh, and sitting animations! I like sitting on things in games!

@kasparsbulins @ChShersh @ManOfFocus_ No, it's having good habits, idiot. Those are what help in unexpected situations, and there's plenty of objective science backing it up. I bet you're one of the millions of horrible drivers who thinks he's awesome because he cuts people off.

As people are bringing up, it felt more like one of the well-made Dreamworks movies than it has anything from Pixar lately, and that's not really a bad thing. It keeps it light the whole way through, but it's by design. It's gonna sell so many plushies.

Hoppers gets a cute/10. It definitely skewed much younger than most Pixar fare, and didn't ever try to make the audience cry like Up or Coco, but it's also just a really fun, well-made movie with great jokes and slapstick. I more appreciated it for what it didn't do.

@SexbeanPernicus It's just a square/rectangle thing. All cyberpunk is science fiction, but not all science fiction is cyberpunk. I think it's far more thematic than aesthetic, but you're right that "poor people in the future" isn't inherently cyberpunk. His example absolutely is, though.

@FearsomeLLC A lot of sci fi is in some way dystopian and most of that dystopian sci fi reflects the same core ideas as cyberpunk. What actually defines cyberpunk is tonal and stylistic, aesthetic etc, and all of that is basically downstream of neuromancer and blade runner.

@TheOtherFrost I'm one of those nerds that thinks certain specific English dubs are better for that reason, especially in something like Black Lagoon or Bebop, where being punchy and changing the cadence of certain lines is a feature and not a bug.

Not to say one is better. But that youthful dramatic line read has more room for delivery when you end on vowels Meanwhile consonants, imo, are better for sharp gruff line reads. "Except...It's a terrible day for rain"

ooooo this is my nerdshit He mentioned tone and lip synch for why English sub sounds so cringe. I'll add one more: phonetics Japanese ends on vowels, creates an open ended flowy sound. Spanish dub does this as well English ends on consonants.
Jojo ❤️@josiah_awkward

Charlie shares his experience dubbing a character in Baki and this really puts into perspective how tough English dubbing is for voice actors. People will denounce all dubs for being “cringe” but the actors are literally instructed to copy the cadence of the original lmao
