@FeatureKreep Not a fire dungeon but I'm replaying Spirit Tracks at the moment and I'd forgotten how good the Snow Temple is. The whole dungeon is one big puzzle where you have to bring these bells into the central room and play different songs with them using the boomerang. Very memorable

I feel like fire dungeons are often too basic, both in terms of puzzles and visual design. What are some great standouts? Dragon Roost Cavern, maybe?

This recent stuff about just playing RE games is eye opening honestly, I didn't think it was this bad. Just how much of gaming discourse over the last decade was steered entirely by people who don't play games and just engage in fandom spaces? Hell how much discourse about anime too? has hobby discourse just been one big Platos cave? have our hobbies and video games been making adjustments and changes entirely based on people who have never gone near what they demand be changed and know actually very little about it. All because its disrupting their social hang out space and not actually out of any personal investment or knowledge of the thing itself.

@KingOtheNorth31 These people have a Hollywood-level understanding of what death from a terminal illness looks like: a comfy bed, surrounded by loved ones, a few parting words, followed by a weak cough and a smile. Reality is often so much more gruesome.

@sir_troba @gameboyboyman I loved Ragnarok but I wish they made a trilogy like they originally wanted. The last act felt very sudden and even rushed, even if I appreciated the narrative elements. But yeah, that game is gorgeous. Could not put it down.
