The fact you pivoted into him being a grifter gives me great pause with even debating with you because it is a punch below the belt. You don't have to attack his character for disagreeing with you. For you to cast stones the way you did so effortlessly... I am not sure you wanted actual debate or if you have an agenda you're trying to push. Your "grifter" pivot is a tactic that gives evil a foothold. Most people don't want to know the truth. They want their worldview / perspective to be reinforced. It's a very uncomfortable thing if your mind is not ready to see the light of Truth.

Pareidolia means we read overweighted significance into marginal or non-existent patterns, making us confident we see things that don’t really exist. Any other Catholics (or those of other denominations and faiths) feel weird singing hymns that are in God's voice, not addressed to Him or about Him? I love to sing, but I always feel uncomfortable jumping into hymns like this one (from the '80s). But maybe I'm overreacting?
