When you see the relentless attacks from other parties on the Greens across the media remember this:
They hate our plan to end Rip Off Britain.
They don't want a wealth tax.
They don't want public ownership & lower bills.
They're trying everything in their power to stop us.
Reform want to round up migrants and detain them indefinitely in areas that don’t vote for them.
Yet for most of our media, it’s those marching for Palestine who are creating hatred & fear.
These disgusting plans are an affront to democracy — and must be fiercely opposed.
When the UK and the European Union work together, we all reap the benefits.
In these volatile times we need to go further and faster on economic, energy and defence security.
@FedUpBrit81@BasilTheGreat Sorry, yes. I’ve been a mug. I assumed I was exchanging with someone with an attention span which would reach the second sentence. What a dunce.
There is absolutely no way Banksy managed to put this up in central London without the go ahead from the state
He's not against the system
He's part of it
Sadiq Khan will no doubt have approved this
People said Labour wouldn’t change anything.
Today 11 million renters get stronger rights.
Section 21 abolished. Bidding wars banned. Rent rises limited. Discrimination against families and benefit claimants stopped.
That is a massive shift of power from landlords to renters.
@FedUpBrit81@DavidMcGregorBN I see - one of those rare carers who are UK born and bred then. The majority are not and they do important hard work which is grossly underpaid.
Fifteen months on, I’m so proud that the Children’s Wellbeing and Schools Act is now law.
In those months, we’ve seen why these changes are needed now more than ever – a short thread below on why that’s the case. 🧵
30 years ago, little girls weren't getting dragged in to bushes and raped by gangs of imported Islamists, they weren't doing lockdown practice in schools, and everyone carried a flicknife without 148 stabbings a day.
I don't know where you were 30 years ago, but 30 years ago I was 18, and I can assure you the country was a much safer place.
Zia Yusuf is a liar. He just claimed UK unemployment is the highest in Europe. It isn't. UK rate: 5.2%. Finland: 10.2%. Spain: 9.8%. France: 7.9%. Source: House of Commons Library, 16 April 2026.
