@CanadianFella20 @_falsi1ke 'cheap' . You would need a van to take the equipment with you, that crazy brush they now use to reach flat at the third floor, website so clients find you because nowadays they look on google for these services, which means you need to invest in your SEO and marketing too

@_falsi1ke Clean Windows for $250 startup cost Charge $3-5 per pane Takes 1-2 mins per window. You do the math. Do good work, get reoccurring clients and referrals. Easily make $500-1,000 a day. Numbers go banana’s if you got workers. Best “cheap side hustle” out here 🫡

@Sherifdeenolat2 I agree, maybe if it is really a good problem you can do less marketing and have a bit of luck, but still pretty hard.

A lot of small business marketing is basically: “please buy my product” “please buy my product” “please buy my product” followed by: “organic marketing doesn’t work”

@pcshipp Pricing too high, benefit not perceivable, Users do not see the offer and many other reasons that are worth looking into. It is good you have a solid base of users though!

building on X really sucks if you're posting and getting 2 likes its cardinal rule to be social if you're gonna post on social media.

@ThriveInfinite_ Exactly, I think many small businesses either quit too early or repeat the same message without really observing how people react to it.

@FedericoGe99609 100%. Consistency without listening turns into repetition. The goal isn’t to repeat yourself endlessly. It’s to stay with something long enough to learn what’s actually resonating, then adapt from there.

Most small business owners don't have a marketing problem. They have a "switching strategies every 3 weeks" problem. 🧵

The more I look at small business marketing, the more I realise that nobody has a content problem. Ideas can come from anywhere. But they have a communication problem. People see the business, but they do not understand it. This is where analysis and testing are needed.

Many small businesses think paid ads will fix weak marketing. Sometimes they just amplify it. Traffic helps, but trust and clarity still need to be there first.
