In fact, as of 2026, these investments appear to have increased. Upwind Security, which Curry has invested in, is an Israel-based cloud security company. Its founders are known to come from former Israeli military intelligence units. After his investment in September 2023, Curry also participated in the new $250 million funding round that took place in January 2026. Zafran Security, on the other hand, is a cybersecurity startup with its R&D center in Israel and a founding team with a military intelligence background. Curry joined this company through an approximately $30 million investment round in 2024. Due to these companies’ ties to the Israeli military ecosystem, their roles in Gaza, and the fact that their founders are Zionists, these investments have long remained a subject of controversy and criticism.
