@FeliciaReal0 @The_LauraShow Thats the moba aspect, cs and tf2 has a easy entry, beginner friendly games. Deadlock should not be compared to them in that aspect, rather so league and dota, which is way harder to get into than deadlock. “just unfun” is not an argument, just a nothing burger.

@reealitysurf @The_LauraShow I also really did try to force myself to like it a while ago but I really couldnt, even in the games when I was performing relatively well and we were winning it was just not fun at all probably made myself dislike it more by trying to force myself through it tbf

@reealitysurf @The_LauraShow I mean.. I instantly had fun when I first started playing CS all those years ago, I instantly had fun when first playing TF2, deadlock again, is inherently just unfun, it wasn't hard, wasn't difficult (at those levels at least), just inherently not a fun gameplay loop.

@reealitysurf @The_LauraShow to me tf2 is the best casual game and cs the best comp game, cs is instantly satisfying AND very punishing, tf2 is satisfying but not really punishing, deadlock is like.. i dont know, it didnt feel satisfying at all nor particularly punishing but it probably is at higher levels

@FeliciaReal0 @The_LauraShow So ur argument eventually boils down to u not liking mobas, beacuse enemies have with a significant soul lead is what u call “bullet sponge simulator” and mobas not being beginner friendly… seen this take so many times and it always boils down into skill issue/refusing to learn

@reealitysurf @The_LauraShow Will say generally games which arent fun nor satisfying in the beginning and require you to go through either frustrating or just boring gameplay to get to the actual fun points just aren't my thing, games which require you to dump 929 shots into an enemy are that 4 me.

@reealitysurf @The_LauraShow would say grinding is more closer to an addiction than actual fun for many people (not in the video games bad sense) like I actively see people just raging and stressing and not having fun whilst grinding more than the other way around by far. MOBAs arent my thing so yh fair
