Heard an explosion in Odesa. Seemed loud but could’ve been an interception. Otherwise, a sunny and idyllic spring morning.

But Russians no longer care about international law, humanitarian missions, or civilian lives. This was an absolutely deliberate strike. By the way, debris of a Russian “Skvorets” drone was found at the impact site. Photos of the evidence attached.

I’ve barely posted these past two days because I was busy getting ready for a trip, and then we were on the road. And that same night, Russia launched a massive аttack while we were traveling by train with Solomiуa and Seva. I was extremely worried the entire night. I kept constantly checking the news, the air raid alerts, and everything happening around us, worrying that we would stay safe. Because of that, I barely slept and felt completely exhausted. But the most important thing is - we arrived safely 🤗 A little later, I’ll show you in photos where exactly we arrived.

Violating all norms of international law, Russians attacked humanitarian mission vehicles in the Korabelnyi district with UAVs. Vehicles of @UNOCHA were damaged. Information on casualties is being clarified. The terrorists continue to wage war even against those who help others.

Britain would benefit from a law stating that no one who had ever served as the president of the Oxford or Cambridge Union should be allowed within a 100 meters radius of Downing Street and, ideally, the Houses of Parliament. A ban of PPE graduates would help too.

I just drove by the apartment building hit by a Russian missile early this morning. Part of it collapsed—you can see the stairwell. Rescue workers on the roof trying to put out fires and get to injured. And more attacks are on the way—I just saw a drone get shot down. Pure evil.

A rescue operation is currently underway in Kyiv at the site of a Russian drone strike on a nine-story residential building – an entire section of the building has been completely destroyed. Dozens of people have been rescued. Tragically, one person has been killed. My condolences to their family and loved ones. People may still be trapped under the rubble. Overnight, the Russians launched more than 670 attack drones and 56 missiles against Ukraine. Ballistic, aeroballistic, and cruise missiles were used in the strikes. The main target of this attack was Kyiv. There is damage at twenty locations across the city – ordinary residential buildings, a school, a veterinary clinic, and other purely civilian infrastructure. Destruction has also been reported in the Kyiv region, while similar terrorist strikes targeted energy infrastructure in Kremenchuk, as well as port and residential areas in Chornomorsk. In total, since midnight yesterday, Russia has used more than 1,560 drones against our cities and communities. These are definitely not the actions of those who believe the war is coming to an end. It is important that partners do not remain silent about this strike. And it is equally important to continue supporting the protection of our skies. The PURL initiative is needed so that Ukraine can defend itself against ballistic strikes like these. And likewise, in the interests of everyone seeking peace, pressure on Russia must continue. I thank everyone who stands with Ukraine.

Kyiv is under a massive Russian attack from ballistic missiles and drones right now, according to the Air Force and local authorities, with explosions reverberating across the Ukrainian capital. Air defense is actively working to beat back the threat. Authorities warning residents to seek shelter.

Russians turned Kherson into "hell", relentlessly terrorizing the city with drone attacks. Vehicles, homes, and even civilians on the streets came under attack. Since the beginning of the day alone, at least 20 residents have been injured in enemy drone attacks in Kherson.

Together with Boris Pistorius visited the frontline regions. Boris is one of the few foreign defense ministers to personally visit our troops so close to the line of combat. This is a testament to true European leadership, and Ukraine deeply appreciates this unwavering support. We visited several military command centers at the front. Our defenders demonstrated the current operational situation, showcasing how they utilize the DELTA system, plan assault operations, neutralize enemy logistics, conduct reconnaissance, and coordinate various drone types within a unified battle management system. It is vital for us to show our partners the raw reality of this war. Our shared objective is to stop Russia in Ukraine. To achieve this, Ukraine and Europe must stand strong together.
