Gov. DeSantis would rather collaborate with foreign dictators while throwing due process out the window, than actually help Floridians. He wants you to foot the bill for his power grab while he breaks up our beautifully diverse communities. It’s shameful.

This campaign has been an incredible learning experience but an enjoyable one. Nothing is more amazing to me than having real conversations with residents of district 42 at their front door and hearing about how we can make real change in their lives in the Florida legislature. I’m incredibly humbled and honored that people continue to come out every week to support us and help talk to voters with us. This milestone is a testament to their hard work and our campaigns continued mission to speak with future constituents about the issues affecting them every day. Thank you to everyone who chipped in on this effort I cannot wait to hit our next milestone and talk to even more voters. If you’d like to join us in that effort, visit felipeforflorida.com

Every single thing our campaign has been able to accomplish is due entirely to the outpouring of grassroots support from across Orange County. I couldn’t be more thankful for everyone who is supporting our vision of a Florida where we all thrive together. Every dollar, door knock, or conversation that’s donated to our campaign is furthering our movement to deliver for Florida families and bring solutions to Tallahassee. Thank you for your support, we’re running full steam ahead towards victory in November!

#Florida candidates can buy their way onto the ballot — or earn it signature by signature. Petition qualifying takes months, organization and serious grassroots muscle. If you qualified by petition for 2026, reach out to Peter@FloridaPolitics.com to be included in our running list. #FlaPol wp.me/pcPG06-3l0s

On Florida Emancipation Day, we honor the resilience, strength, and legacy of Black Floridians. From Eatonville to communities across our state, that history lives on. We must keep fighting for a Florida where every community is seen, heard, and represented.

The DOJ just agreed to block the IRS from pursuing pending tax claims against President Trump, his family, and his businesses as part of a settlement deal. Meanwhile, millions of working families lost their healthcare. Where’s the justice? axios.com/2026/05/19/tru…

As the first openly transgender person elected to a state senate in the United States and then to Congress, @SarahEMcBride is no stranger to making history. I’m honored to have her support and I’m excited to continue her mission of breaking down barriers when elected as the first Brazilian and first DREAMer to the Florida Legislature. History in the making!

Speaker Johnson complains lawmakers can’t survive on $174K salaries while opposing help for struggling families, backing healthcare cuts, and supporting billions in war spending. Floridians deserve accountability, not corruption. Vote to flip the House and break the FL supermajority. finance.yahoo.com/economy/policy…

Floridians can’t afford insurance, rent, or groceries… but somehow Tallahassee always finds money for political perks and ego trips. The corruption isn’t even subtle anymore!

Ron DeSantis wants Florida taxpayers to keep paying for his security after he leaves office. This proposal just surfaced in a budget offer from the Florida Senate, where the chamber's GOP leadership has closely aligned itself with the governor this session:

“Alligator Alcatraz” was political theater that wasted millions while Floridians struggle with rising costs and underfunded schools, all while damaging a sensitive ecosystem. Florida deserves better than cruelty disguised as governance.

The constitution is not optional. I swore an oath to uphold and defend Florida’s constitution (which bans partisan gerrymandering). My Republican colleagues ignored theirs.

“Felipe Sousa-Lazaballet and I share the belief that equality and justice should be a reality no matter where you come from, what you look like, or how much money you have. He will be a new kind of leader in Tallahassee, a history-making legislator, and someone who I am proud to call my friend. I am excited to endorse his campaign for FL House District 42.” - State Attorney Monique Worrell

I've always been impressed with candidates who qualify for office using the petition method vs. just paying the filing fee. If you know one (or are one) who's doing so this cycle, let me know here. I'm looking to profile a few.

Florida’s new congressional map isn’t about fair representation. It’s about politicians choosing their voters instead of voters choosing their leaders. Our communities deserve maps that reflect their voices, not ones that silence them. I stand firmly against this effort to undermine our democracy.

Help us Drag Out the Vote! Join us for a night of joy, resistance, and community as we come together to support our campaign. This is more than a fundraiser. It’s a statement. At a time when drag artists are being unfairly targeted and demonized, we are choosing to celebrate them, stand with them, and uplift the powerful role they play in our culture and our democracy.
