Excited to share our latest work in @ScienceMagazine (science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…). Building on the foundational work of the PCAWG and HMF consortia, we established a compendium of mutation events in somatic whole-genome sequencing data of 3,949 patients from 19 tumor types.

Proud mentor moment today. Two Health Data Science masters at @HarvardChanSPH graduating from our lab. Congrats to Ian Lo and Yi-Ting Tsai on finishing their master thesis project with us and delivering an impressive final presentation in front of the committee today.

Honored we got the chance to meet the German Minister of Health @Karl_Lauterbach at @DanaFarber today. The dialog between scientists and politicians is critical to “de-siloing” data in clinical research. Discovery tools can only be as good as the real-world data we train them on.
