I wonder why @BethRigby has been refused to record the event for posterity. Anyone know?

I was looking forward to interviewing Boris Johnson at Cheltenham, but regrettably I can’t go ahead with the event because I am not allowed make an audio recording or transcript of the interview. As a journalist in conversation with a former PM at a public event, I can only proceed if we do it on the record. I’m sorry to have to pull out.

@MannGeorgia @BBCRadio3 Pronouncing ‘Einojuhani Rautevaara’ expertly despite being sinusly challenged! What a pro! 👏😊.

In the first Playlister of the week @BBCRadio3 we're spreading some wide wings with Sibelius' Scene With Cranes. In mythology cranes are seen as symbolising freedom and eternal youth. In Finnish culture, cranes are like our storks, delivering babies. Where might we head next?

@PetrocTrelawny You’ll cross the Whin Sill again in Teesdale en route for Barnard Castle if you go that way - High Force waterfall flows over it. 😊
English

@PetrocTrelawny You’ve made a journey along the Whin Sill - a band of hard igneous rock running north east to southwest across the region. It forms the ridge that Hadrians Wall sits on and the outcrop of Lindisfarne Castle!

Today @PetrocTrelawny presents @BBCRadio3’s #Breakfast from the Roman fort of @VindolandaTrust 5 miles west of #HaydonBridge. The view of the site is from Barcombe Hill where the Romans had a signal station. The 2nd image is the Stanegate, the road the fort was built to defend.

@PetrocTrelawny @LettyStott @VindolandaTrust @BBCRadio3 This was tremendous! So evocative. Loved the dog chorus accompaniment too. 😊

The cattle are sitting down on Hadrian’s Wall. Does that suggest rain is on its way ? Join us live from @VindolandaTrust tmr from 0630 as @BBCRadio3 Breakfast continues its journey around England’s north east.

@MichaelSadgrove @PetrocTrelawny @BBCRadio3 Well that was lovely! Missed the first hour so will ‘rewind’ on Sounds.
English

Following @PetrocTrelawny on his progress across North East England. Here’s the vista from the top of #Lindisfarne Castle across the sound to the mainland with the Cheviots on the horizon. As it was on a sunnier Monday morning two weeks ago! @BBCRadio3 #Breakfast

English

@PetrocTrelawny @nationaltrust @BBCRadio3 If you have time before you head back to the mainland The Heugh is a good vantage point. Some panels in the old Lantern Chapel describe the geology, history and flora of the island.
English

we had hoped to have harpist Emily Hoile outside - but the rain means we have fashioned a concert hall for her from the @nationaltrust Lindisfarne ticket office. @BBCRadio3

English

@JoeMorrisMP Found it! Great speech - good plug for the region, touched on the major concerns of your constituents and made time for a warm tribute to your predecessor. Proud to have supported you 👏👏
English

@JoeMorrisMP Already? Missed it - going to have to Google now! 😅

@rafaelbehr @chrischirp The progressive anti-Tory votewas well over 50%. Tactical voting meant that in constituencies where, say Lib Dems were the main challenger to the Tory, the Lab vote plummeted. That will have affected the overall %.
