I don't recall the TSA wait time; it was all long, but we expected it. The airport kept everyone hydrated with water and people were over all happy to be heading but also apprehensive.
I think the most unsettling thing was having National Guard at every airport, standing at every corner, with automatic weapons, but we knew it was needed.
For years to come, every time we boarded a plane we looked around and profiled everyone, and we said a silent prayer for an Air Marshall to be on our flight.

@JennieSTaer There are always ICE and Border Protection in every airport, and they have been there for decades.
They are deploying additional agents to assist TSA; don't assume you know the role of any one agent. He could be watching you. 🙄

I’ve watched the same ICE officers walk by at least ten times while sitting at Houston’s Hobby Airport in the last hour. Not seeing the ICE officers working hand in hand with TSA yet here.

Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) is in the process of implementing live TSA wait time estimates, but as of March 2026, it's not fully live across all terminals yet.
Massport is actively testing a new system that uses anonymous camera analytics to measure and estimate real-time security checkpoint wait times. This started as a pilot in Terminal B in early 2026.

The lines at ATL, EWR, and LGA have gotten so bad that the airports pulled their feeds.
As for adding other airports like ORD or BOS, I'm limited in what I can add bc I need live data feeds.

I think Democrats are severely under appreciating the damage it will do to their anti-ICE messaging for flocks of normies to see ICE agents at airports being respectful and helpful to busy travelers, as seems like the most likely case here
Most of these people have likely never encountered an ICE agent in person… Putting a real, friendly, and helpful face on them has a huge amount of PR potential for the agency

@FellTolla @FAANews ATC told the plane to stop-they didn't. ATC told the truck to stop repeatedly-they didn't. Firetrucks & all emergency vehicles entering an active runway MUST look for & yield to aircraft. While they receive authorization from ATC, they are responsible for scanning for traffic.

Air Canada Express Flight 8646 struck an Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting vehicle after landing on Runway 4 at LaGuardia Airport in New York. The accident occurred around 11:40 p.m. local time on Sunday, March 22. The CRJ-900 was arriving from Montreal. The FAA and NTSB will investigate. The NTSB is in charge of the investigation and will provide all updates.

Of course they can.
But this is not new; Border Protection and ICE are at every airport, every day, for decades.
They are simply deploying additional agents to assist TSA.
For example, unknown to most people, Terminal 4 at JFK is the 'smuggling hub' of New York. Border Protection agents are there 24/7, keeping American safe.

By 7:10 AM ET, the S&P 500 surged +240 points adding +$2 TRILLION in market cap. 27 minutes later, Iran completely denied all of President Trump's claims and said there has been "no contact" with the US. By 8:00 AM ET. the S&P 500 had fallen -120 points erasing -$1 trillion in market cap. That's a $3 TRILLION swing market cap in 56 minutes, just in the S&P 500. What is happening here?
