According to David Pagnotta, the Edmonton Oilers are in the market for a speedy winger this offseason. One name he said being whispered is Philadelphia Flyers forward Owen Tippett. At 6'2" with elite speed and a proven scoring touch, Tippett could be exactly the type of player Edmonton is looking to add to its top six.

The whole Alberta separatists jargon is just silly. These people are ridiculous. The truth is they are a kooky fringe minority that hate everyone. Apparently they pay for everything and the rest of us just collect welfare. Edmonton & Calgary are both buried in debt with LRT & bike lanes but everyone else needs to start voting better??? In the end people will not vote to crush their own currency. Danielle Smith had proven to be a chaotic & destructive leader. Conservatives would be wise to jettison her asap. Starting a petition to garner a vote on destroying the country is reckless. What other countries allow this?

I’ve long maintained that the Alberta separatist “movement” is basically just one guy, Jeff Rath. This article doesn’t actually do that much to dispel that impression. The supposed “many” separatist groups beyond Rath’s APP barely exist or are just APP offshoots.

Impressive run by a young Montreal Canadiens team. Learned what it takes to win a pair of 7-game series and how far there is to go to take down a top team like Carolina. Can't buy that kind of experience. Jeff Gorton & Kent Hughes have them well positioned for years to come.

Jarvis, Aho, Blake, Ehlers and Stankoven. Yeah Habs main guys are so small. They were just overwhelmed by the big powerful scary Carolina core.

Great post! Spot on! No kidding! What other fans go to an opponents arena to sing Ole if they lose? Thats classless. Habs fans make fun of others if they lose. I really did not get their mocking the Sens. At least they went down fighting. Then all this talk of Cup & window. It was absolutely ridiculous. It’s going to be a tough season next year in Montreal. Expect everyone to take it to the Canadiens. They will miss the playoffs & MSL will be fired.

Now that the series is over. I stand by what I said. No fanbase has ever been more toxic, disgraceful, and flat out childish as Montreal. At no point did I see any accountability taken. The one thing they do better than others though? Making up excuses. It really was pathetic.
