@januverma This fundamental problem is solved purely by biophysicists. (J Jumper is a biophysicist graduated from a famous biophysicist lab) So I do not understand why AI researchers think that they solve this scientific problem.

My latest blog post dives into the protein folding problem - a fundamental question in molecular biology that puzzled scientists for decades, until deep learning models like AlphaFold changed the game. I walk through the biological and computational roots of the problem.

@januverma Basically, anyone who claims protein structure prediction is an AI-complete problem doesn't know science or even math. And also refuse to read more CASP papers.

Covers the significance of Anfinsen’s experiment, the role of the CASP competition, and why protein structure prediction was considered an AI-complete problem. This sets the stage for understanding how AlphaFold-2 achieved its breakthrough.

@ProteinSociety Hi, I want to double check whether I can still submit an abstract to be considered for a talk. The information on the website and is different from what I saw on twitter.

@easyremember022 @MagicsBurner Lossing in the group stage doesn't mean you must return home. If a game won't let you go back home, how could it count toward your contribution to winning? That's unreasonable. It is coming to something other than your English. It is questioning your logic.

@easyremember022 @MagicsBurner Most valuable == most important. So why would you consider less important games? Or you do not understand the English word "valuable".

@MrIdahoPreps Curry saves the USA in important games. "consistently great" doesn't mean anything because he is not the key to win the game.

Steph had unbelievable two games and was the closer when it mattered the most. But I feel like LeBron has to be the Olympic MVP cause he was consistently great for all 6 games.

@bigg_mike7 @TermineRadio Curry has the most points. And because of Curry Lebron got a lot of assists. The reason why Curry doesn't have so many assist is because he doesn't have a teammate called Curry

@957thegame @SteinyGuru957 @SteinmetzNBA Shut up. It is disgusting. The disrespect to Steph is historical. How could you treat the best player in the league for past 10 years like that.

.@SteinmetzNBA has a message for Curry fans: "I never said Steph SHOULD go to the bench... It was a mechanism to start a discussion about why Stephen Curry is so unique as a person and a player. It was about the greatness of Steph."

@sgt602 @stephenasmith Then why do you mention "guard shooting from the half court". That is nothing related to it. A lot of stars like Steph can hardly get any free throws. Only certain "GOAT" players and their followers try to look for a foul because the league is trying to create a new goat.

@FengYu_Bio @stephenasmith What. Nobody said a word about fighting, no just hooping. No beat as in looking to score, not to beat someone up and not looking for the easy way out. C'mon man. Not looking for a foul or bail out

@sgt602 @stephenasmith The "beat" you mean using hand to beat right? So you think that NBA is a league for fighting rather than basketball. Jordan makes a lot of mid-range jumpers. As long as the ball goes into the net, it is a good shot.

@FengYu_Bio @stephenasmith Today's stars started swinging their arms to get Free throws, yesterday's stars weren't looking for the cheap or weak way out, they were only looking to beat you straight up. Today's fouls were play on in the 80's & 90's, no weak calls for awful shots. No bail outs.
