Lohen - Genshin Impact Day 1 Revenue Performance! Okay, I decided to use both updates the game had during the night. A little reminder for those that only read this post: Lohen banner came out in Asia later than normal making impossible to take the rankings in the moment I do for all the other games. The rankings in China and Japan are a little lower in the first reset compared to the second one, but not enough to actually make a big difference. I’ll mention both anyway, since it’s kind of an unusual situation which I hope won't happen again. 😅 Anyway, back to the performance. Lohen’s performance seems to be on par with previous recent releases. Maybe slightly on the lower end, but not enough to say he’s underperforming compared to them, honestly. I’ll put here the past CN and JP rankings for all the units after Columbina for comparison: Zibai: 10th JP and 5th CN Varka: 7th JP and 6th CN Linnea: 11th JP and 6th CN Nicole: 8th JP and 4th CN And here are Lohen’s TOP 5 RANKINGS: (1st and 2nd update): 1) Hong Kong: 9th - 8th 2) Japan: 9th - 8th 3) China: 11th - 8th 4) Singapore: 15th - 15th 5) Taiwan: 19th - 16th I decided to include both screenshots, but honestly the result doesn’t really change. Lohen seems to have performed around average compared to previous releases in Japan, and also in China. Although in China he seems to have very slightly underperformed compared to them, the difference is so small that I don’t think it really matters, also because the same thing happened in the opposite way in Japan. Genshin continues to dominate in CN, its strongest market, with consistent Top 10 rankings. That’s something even HSR struggles to achieve, which is honestly impressive. On the other hand, in Japan and other Asian countries, Genshin is closer in performance to other major gachas like Wuwa, and it almost always gets beaten by HSR in Japan and by Wuwa in Korea. That said, Genshin’s average rankings in Western countries are always higher than those gachas (ofc if we exclude major releases for those games but that's unfair), probably thanks to its more consolidated casual audience. (Not this time though, check edit at the end of the post). The level of popularity and attachment that Genshin has in China is always very interesting, in my opinion. Overall, I would say Lohen had a good performance. He isn’t really that interesting as a character imo, but that’s just my personal opinion. Still, he managed to keep up the good and consistent performance Genshin has had in the past few months. DOES DOTTORE HAVE 13-14 SEGMENTS OR CONTINUITY FLAW? During the 6.6 AQ, while Dottore talks about his segments, 13 different constellations show up, each representing a version of himself. One of his cutscenes show 13 different hands (excluding himself) come up to grab him. The erasure of segments cutscene (3.2 AQ) was expanded on by the JP VA, who had confirmed the script writers gave them the following ages: 10,20,25,30,45,50,60 Current in-game ages: 8,18,25,35,45,65,85 When combining both lists, we're left with 1-2 unconfirmed segment ages and a possible plot hole. #GenshinImpact #IlDottore
