My first thread. Hold tight. 1/13 Yesterday, #Alberta's latest opiate death numbers were released. They are sobering. This graph shows opiate poisoning deaths in 2021 are averaging nearly three times (2.9x) higher than two years ago.

If the gov’t is building a new SCS, I hope it will incorporate supervised inhalation. Prevalence of smoking fentanyl + other drugs seems to be on the rise in #yeg, with many anecdotal reports of ppl who smoke drugs overdosing outside of SCS (which only accommodate injection).
